In Rochester, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across New York do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Wonderful place for group dinner/ date/ chat. Background music is present but not too loud that will interfere with conversation, but the restaurant is also packed at all times so it wonβt be silent either. Great place. Food is also absolutely lovely.

My husband and I enjoyed a date night here that delivered on both culinary delights AND hospitality! It is rare to find both; Chef Jill and her team have curated a menu that offers classic cuisine with modern flair. Our favorites were the frito misto (lightly battered and succulent seafood) gnocchi with prosciutto, peas and mushrooms and the brown butter salted caramel budino! Make Lucano your next meal out!

This restaurant is under new management, ownership..Jill & Alex put a lot of care and effort into the dishes, customer service, and the overall Vibe. They are offering new options and specials. I would highly suggest if you have not been here. I would definitely give it a try. The food was amazing and it will not disappoint.. Thank you so much for a wonderful food experience.

Awesome! Really is. I loved the vegi eggplant Lasagna. The calamari is probably one of the best I ever had. Really excellent. Highly recommended. My only minor negative thing is that I had to park further away because they are so busy.
